~ Someday My Love ~

Living within the eternal voyage of dreams I have
for you each night brings forth mystical visions of
your love floating in my thoughts and I try to touch
you; but your vision fades to mist each time I do.

Then my mind slumbers into an awkward sleep to
be awakened sporadically to see your vision appear
once again and I struggle with all my soul to blend
my loving spirit within your spiritual beauty.

I extend my arms outward trying to wrap them around
the visions I have of you with heart felt kisses like none
I ever felt before and the pain of you fading out of my
arms once more only leaves me with the nothingness.

Spiritual cries I feel within my soul each time you arrive
in my dreams and fade away like fog that is dissipating
from the heat of the sun and I yearn so much to have
you in my dream felt life to hold you for eternity.

Someday My Love, I will awaken from these dreams and
you will be in my arms forever more; but you won't fade
into the darkness of the night, leaving me to search for you
in my dreams that fill my loving spirit for you with tears.
