for an essay project on January 24th
2002
Someone asked me one day who was my
hero, I didn't know really what to say,
until a few weeks later. That same
person asked me the same question and I
thought about it and I said God! He has
brought me through some tuff times and
good times and he has been my hero and
my best friend. He taught me a lot of
lessons what is right, and what is
wrong. So I know who my hero is and he
is God?
God? He is one awesome person. He has
taught me a lot of lessons, like be kind
to people that aren't as fortunate as I
am. Not to treat them differently from
other people. If someone starts picking
on a kid or whoever, I stick up for
them, I don't do it because that is what
God wants me to do, I do it because It's
from the bottom of my heart, I know I
wouldn't want people making fun of me or
picking on me. yeah, I do sometimes talk
and say stuff about people, but I try to
catch myself. I catch myself cuz God is
telling me to quit.
God? He has changed my life, and other
peoples life's. I wouldn't be here if it
wasn't for God. I wouldn't be a descent
ball player if he didn't bless me with a
father that coaches basketball. I'm so
blessed. He also is my hero because he
blessed me with a beautiful Mom and Dad
that love me. He will always be my hero.
God has disciplined me so well, when I
get in trouble he punishes me. Like when
I got in trouble, my parents discipline
me but it's actually God telling them to
discipline me.
I would not have manners or have respect
for anyone if God didn't discipline me.
I thank God every night for being the
bestest friend ever.
People that don't know God are missing
out. He will change your life. It's not
easy to change your life that quick, but
if you let him work with you, you will
appreciate it.
